I recently delivered a presentation entitled ‘Universal Design – From Products through Process to Practice’to the AHEAD Conference held at Croke Park, Dublin on March 12th and 13th 2013.
The conference theme was ‘Is Universal Design in Education any of my business?’, and I had the great pleasure of being part of a panel discussion comprised of myself, Dr. Gerald Craddock – Head of the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design, Dr. Marian McCarthy – Co-Director of Ionad Bairre at UCC, and Kjetil Knarlag – Head of Universell, the National Coordinator of Universal Design and Inclusive Learning in Higher Education in Norway.
